Pet Policy

The management at Nine Pines Motel is happy to welcome your pet when you come to stay with us. We strongly urge you to read these guidelines prior to bringing your pet to the property.


Up to two (2) pets per room reservation are permitted.
Your pet is NOT permitted to freely roam the property unsupervised. Please see
Pet Safety below for more on this.
Pets are NOT permitted on beds and furniture.

Your pet MUST be caged/kenneled if left alone in room and you must provide a mobile number where you can be reached while you are away.

In the event your pet becomes distressed or disruptive, you will be expected to return to your room and attend to your pet.
You are expected to clean up after your pet. You must provide your own poop scoop or litter box, as appropriate.


A $20.00 fee is charged for your pet(s) at the time your room reservation is made. This fee is per reservation, not per night or per pet.

The cost of any damages caused by your pet while on the Nine Pines Motel property will be charged to your credit card. The best way to avoid damages is to know your pet and bring the appropriate supplies to avoid such damages. Examples of helpful supplies are leashes, kennels, litter boxes, scratching posts, etc.

Pet Safety

The management at Nine Pines Motel would like to remind you to keep your pet supervised or kenneled, at all times while on and around our property. We cannot guarantee, or be responsible for, the safety of your pet if allowed to roam freely. Coyote, black bears, mountain lions, and wolves are always potential dangers in this region and may even be attracted by a domesticated pet left unattended. We are also conveniently located near the main road; however, it's not so convenient if your pet is running around loose.

Please take care to follow our guidelines to ensure that your pet has as safe and enjoyable a stay as our human guests.

Guest Policy

To ensure the maintenance of our property and consideration of our guests, the following policies will be fully enforced during your stay at Nine Pines Motel.


Smoking cigarettes, E-Cigarettes, and ALL other substances is expressly prohibited in all rooms and on the porches at the Nine Pines Motel. If there is any evidence that smoking has occurred in any of our rooms, a $150 fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Receptacles are provided in several designated areas outdoors as a courtesy to our smoking guests. Please take care to use the receptacles provided and not flick cigarette butts on the ground.

Quiet Hours

In an effort to be considerate to all our guests, we ask that between the hours of 10:00PM and 8:00AM you turn down your television, avoid loud conversations, and close doors and walk along porches quietly. If checking in late, please take extra care to enter your room quietly. Any guest violating this request or behaving in a disruptive manner, may be asked to leave without refund, at the discretion of management.


You are responsible for the condition of your room at check–out. The cost for any items that are missing/damaged will be charged accordingly to your credit card. Bath towel - $20.00, hand towel $15.00,  wash cloths $10.00, etc.  Note that the cost of damages caused by unauthorized smoking in rooms (e.g. burns in carpet or furniture), will be charged in addition to the $150 fee for fumigating the room.

Common Areas

Picnic tables and barbeque grills are provided on a "first come, first serve" basis and are intended to enhance the enjoyment of all our guests during their stay at Nine Pines Motel. Please be courteous and avoid leaving litter behind. Make sure any left over food items are disposed of properly to avoid attracting bears and coyote onto the property.

Please, no running along the porches! It is disruptive to other guests, as well as potentially dangerous.


Nine Pines Motel is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. Please take care to lock your room or vehicle when leaving it unattended.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Please note that Nine Pines Motel may update and amend these Terms from time to time. If you have a question, or have a special circumstance not addressed here, please contact us for assistance.

Payment for Room Reservations

Online room reservations at Nine Pines Motel are charged at the time the reservation is made. All phone and walk-in reservations
are due upon check-in.

Nine Pines Motel accepts the following forms of payment:

American Express
Discover Card
Cash excepted ONLY with credit card on file for incidental charges.


If you need to cancel your room reservation, you must contact us at least 48 hours prior to your reservation. For holiday reservations (Memorial day, 4th of July, Labor day, Fall Festival, Christmas and New Years) you must cancel 10 days prior to your scheduled check–in time to receive a  refund. There will be a $10.00 processing fee for  ALL online reservatation cancelations.

In the event you fail to provide at least 48 hours notice, but contact us prior to your scheduled check–in time, you will be charged for the first night of your stay. If you reserved a longer period than one night, you will receive a prorated refund for the remaining balance of your payment.

If your scheduled check–in time has already occurred and you are cancelling, you will be charged for each night that has already elapsed plus one additional night (if applicable) and receive a prorated refund for any additional time for which you have paid. If you are contacting us on the last day of your reserved booking, you will not be charged for the additional night; however, no refund will be issued.

If you have already checked in, but are checking out ahead of schedule, you will be charged for each night that has already elapsed plus one additional night and receive a prorated refund for any additional time for which you have paid. If you are checking out only one day early, no refund will be issued.

If you do not contact us to cancel your reservation, we will assume you still want the room, but are late checking in, and will continue to hold it until the end of your scheduled reservation; therefore, no refund will be issued.

All refunds are issued to the same card used for payment. We do not issue cash refunds.
